Jeju E-Bike Around the Island – Day 2

☀️ Morning Walk in Sagye

Whenever I travel, I love taking a morning walk around the neighborhood.
There's a special charm you can only feel in the early hours—different from the day or night.

Strolling around Sanbangsan and the quiet streets of Sagye brought a kind of calm I didn’t realize I’d been missing.
This small village, nestled beside the majestic mountain, felt like a hidden treasure—so quiet, so perfectly in tune with nature.

Back at the guesthouse, we had a light breakfast while chatting with the host.
With our batteries (both ours and the e-bikes') fully recharged, we packed up again and set off for Beophwan Badang.

🚲 To Beophwan Badang and Soesokkak

Maybe we were too energetic—because not long after passing Andeok 119 Center, the bike chain slipped off!
It took a while to fix, but strangely, it made me feel more present—more in the moment. Small bumps like these make the memories richer.  Positivity is key! 😉

A cozy café break — I can't remember the name, but the coffee was just what we needed.

Beophwan Badang
The place felt oddly familiar.
Then it hit me—three years ago, I had training in Seogwipo and took evening walks right here.
I skipped taking pictures this time. The booths looked too old and messy compared to how I remembered.

Soesokkak
It was crowded with tourists.
I wanted to look around more, but with so many people, we just gave it a quick glance and moved on.

Not long after, we passed by a tangerine farm. I was tempted to buy some, but the ones I tried were a bit bland.
Carrying them didn’t seem worth it, so I politely passed.

We were craving pork noodle soup, but the place was closed.
Instead, we ended up at a nearby Chinese restaurant. I can’t remember the name, but it was surprisingly delicious—definitely a hidden gem!

🚲 Pyoseon Beach

Fatigue started to set in. My knees were beginning to ache.

Finally, we reached Pyoseon Beach—a wide, shallow stretch of clean shoreline.

It was peaceful, stretching endlessly before us. I wanted to stay longer, soak it all in, but the day’s ride had caught up with me. Still, I was quietly grateful just to have made it there.

🏡 Bangdigareum Guesthouse

That night, we stayed at Bangdigareum Guesthouse, and to our surprise, they gave us a bigger room than we had booked.

In the morning, they even treated us to a breakfast show featuring a parrot! (I regret not getting a photo.)
The meal was excellent, and the warm hospitality wrapped us in comfort. After such a long day, it felt like arriving at a friend’s home.

From Sagye Travel Guesthouse to here, both stays were highlights of our trip.
Unforgettable places, made even more special by the people we met.
